Standardized Operational Procedures for Local Police
A collaborative approach to field safety

This project, led by the Tactical Training Company, focuses on the definition of standardized operational procedures, developed in collaboration with local police commands. Through objective data-driven research and simulations, we aim to create protocols that ensure the safety of officers, civilians, and effective threat management.

Often, field operational practices rely on individual experiences, leading to variable and potentially risky outcomes. Our scientific and participatory approach seeks to bridge this gap, providing clear and validated procedures that improve overall efficiency and safety.

Operational Procedures:
Innovation and Safety

Collaborative Analysis

We identify priorities for operational safety.

Protocol Definition

We create shared and tested procedures.

Realistic Simulations

We verify the effectiveness of procedures with practical scenarios.

Continuous Updating

We adapt and distribute procedures annually..

From collaboration to action: we develop operational procedures that ensure safety and effectiveness in the field, through a process of constant research and validation.

Examples of research fields

Emergency Response and Critical Intervention Procedures

Emergency Response Procedures

Rescue procedures outline the coordinated and timely actions to be taken in emergency situations, with the primary objective of preserving life and minimizing damage. These procedures, which vary depending on the context (medical, natural disaster, etc.), provide clear and standardized guidelines to ensure effective and safe interventions, involving qualified personnel and adequate resources.

High-risk vehicle stop

Routine vehicle stops can escalate into high-risk operations. In these situations, training and standardized procedures are crucial for the safety of officers and civilians.

Threat Management Procedures

Procedures for managing threats involving knives or other lethal force define clear, sequential action protocols. These procedures outline intervention phases, from initial threat assessment to the graduated use of force, aiming to neutralize the aggressor while minimizing risks to officers and civilians. Strict adherence to these procedures is crucial for ensuring effective and safe interventions in high-tension scenarios.
